Greatone kicks it off by suggesting we trade Amare. sad.gif

I thought this was real. No. Don't trade for Paul. Find a way to just sign him.

Um, its in the middle of getting done according to multiple sources. Chandler is signing with the Knicks tomorrow. They are trading Turiaf and buying out Billups for cap space. And they are talking to NO about Amare for Paul.

Then there is the Lakers being involved in a 3-team deal sending Pau Gasol to Houston, getting Chris Paul from New Orleans and New Orleans getting cheap contracts/picks. Then the Lakers would trade Andrew Bynum to Orlando for Dwight Howard.

Kobe-Paul-Howard

Ugh.

Why couldn't they just lose a season? This one is definitely going to start on a down note. Either no Amare or the three super friends out west and in Miami.

Miami also signed Shane Battier. So big 3 1/2!

That's only for a season though, right? Or would Paul extend in LA? I guess he would have to, if the Lakers gave up Gasol.

I hate you so much. Next you'll tell us that Paul Pierce is your favorite player, and you have pajama parties with Bill Simmons where you both squeal over Big Baby's steadily rising P/36M.

I've only grudgingly accepted Burns, and hopefully that will be moot when the Celts deal Rondo to the Hornets for CP3.

What's this thread about now? I thought basketball was abolished because the Jews were sick of giving their money to the Blacks. Maybe I'm mistaken and/or racist. I think the Knicks should trade for C3PO.

Isn't it top 1 protected? Not that this matters because the Knicks can theoretically win 40 games.

That was weird typing.

EDIT: I also didn't remember how Houston got that pick. Then I said to myself "Oh yeah Tracy McGrady played for this team once." Never forget.

Go and find another under-25 seven footer who can score and rebound as a true center. And then once you find this player make sure his team is either New York or Los Angeles(either one) and can also afford him under the cap.

Hahaha, it's OK. That would have to be a three-team trade where they get other things besides Bynum because he's too injury prone and Howard's value is as high or higher than any other player in the league, including LeBron.

And I wasn't being condescending. I was asking if you would take Bynum or would you rather lose him to free agency. Dickweed.

Hahaha, it's OK. That would have to be a three-team trade where they get other things besides Bynum because he's too injury prone and Howard's value is as high or higher than any other player in the league, including LeBron.

Steve Blake.

Metta World Peace, too.

The Nets would be able to give more than the Lakers.

Bynum is great, but I don't know if he will ever make it through a full season.

After today's developments I guess the Knicks are just going to have to sign Derron Williams this off season. Oh shucks.

Wait, so Chandler as a Knick... that gives the Knicks a pretty good lineup.

C. Chandler
PF. Stoudemire
SF. Anthony
SG. Jones
PG. Billups

I guess they would have no depth though. But, a shifty signing of two could make the Knicks real players.

Edit: Nevermind, they would have to shed Billups.

Holy shit. If the NBA, which is running the franchise, blocks this trade and makes Demps keep Paul the Lakers and Rockets will lose their shit.

They're shedding Billups. Sadly if the league isn't going to let anyone trade for Paul, let's just give the Nets what it would take to get Williams? We can do the super friends thing too right?
