Someone please take this spot? I can fill it with someone I know but I'd much rather not. Come on Rangerlanders - y'all wanted in on this last year.

Draft is Tuesday at 10 pm.

ARGH. We can't drop a team and get to 12 without changing the draft date AGAIN. I'm finding a 14th and we'll be keeping Mike B. on, unless he objects.

If you want in, PM me NOW. PLEASE.

two issues:

1.) why is draft order manual?
2.) why only is Kusand capable of vetoing trades (not that we had any last year)

Is it manual? I was meaning to have it auto-random. I have now pressed randomize order in the league manager tools once in order to randomize the order.

Here's the order:

1: Delaware Beards
2: Bellevue Beercats
3: Don't Toews Me Bro!
4: The Anaconda
5: The Markus Nasl und Experience
6: Team Bartolone
7: Team OConnor
8: NB Bulldogs
9: Team Testaverde
10: Team Peroni
11: Blackberry Witbiers
12: Team Leeds
13: Team Old School
14: Landon's Andruil Blades

To address point 2, I hate league veto voting. It turns into petty power tripping where players decide what's "fair," which generally translates to "does this trade hurt my team even though I am not involved?" I trust all of you to make your own trades without colluding.

You're right, I've been sweating getting a 14th into the league, so I totally awarded myself the top pick. rolleyes.gif Should I have hit random until I didn't have top pick? Sorry I didn't Youtube it and have an auditor, but I'm busy. I hit randomize order. If you were concerned you could have been commissioner yourself.

By the way, Dunc, if you're at all serious, I REALLY fucking resent the implication that I would cheat. I have been scrambling to get a person to fill the league, accomodate as many people as possible with the draft time, and tried to be fair in setting this whole thing up. I could not find an online randomizer that would allow you to view the results for yourself, and short of taping it with a videocamera I had no way to demonstrate my results were fairly gotten by getting it with a single click. I'm sorry that I couldn't arrange this with 8 hours notice before the draft that I fucked up and hadn't gotten the draft order randomized properly. I'd have the league do it automatically, but changing our draft settings from manual order to automatic order would force us to reschedule the draft, so I can't do that either. In short, thanks for nothing - nice to see that instead of appreciation for getting this running, which has been a bitch, I get "suspicions."

What are you all whinning about I am last. Kusand you better be telling me who to pick cause I am going to be clueless after the first 8 rounds because ESPN did not keep up with their draft rankings as they have everyone from the start of camp still listed.

Unless someone knows where I can get an up to date ranking list

I forgot who drafted Kulikov, but he did sign and therefore will not be sent to juniors in the meantime. He will get a longer look and probably play 9 NHL games. DeBoer likes him a lot, but i think he wants to make sure he plays better defense than offense this year.

i posted this in the other thread but we seem to be using this one. maybe we should make a ec fantasy thread for the year.

i might have the shittiest fantasy team ever in the history of fantasy hockey. i could have had vanek. st louis and kovalchuck and ended up with ryder, chara and hartnell. is espn retarded? And i need a goalie too unless the Swedish kid turns into our version of lundqvist and i have a better luck winning lotto.

between this and my 0-3 fantasy football team...just call me the rangerland fantasy loser although i only picked the football team and autopicked the two hockey teams because of my car accident.
