This thread is analogous to the Knicks thread, in that it's basically two or three people - unless jconnelly and teddy don't show. Then it'll just be me talking to an empty room.
Looks like one impact of the deal that MLS made with the NBC Sports Network is more early games - several 4pm starts this season, which means that I may actually get to take my kid to a game or two. -------------------- |

I'm here !!! I almost always DVR the Red Bull games and watch them later that day/night...so I suck at timely postings. But I did check into the game last night as they set up a feed on their site. Shitty angles. Not worth the view. The schedule is printed and posted in my office and I'm ready to rock! FC Dallas 3pm March 11 ! They GOTTA play better than they did last year. Right? And maybe they can get some Coop-Sanity like the Knicks thread and all of a sudden the count in here will ...double to 6 posters. |

Heard a radio ad for the game Sunday on WFAN. NBC Sports actually advertising and going into detail about the matchup.
It's good to see some money is being spent on the league. |

They don't look too hot on the defensive side of the field right now, but the passing has gotten *a little* better since the start of the game.

I've noticed that players in this game have the same problem I have in FIFA 12 sometimes: holding the sprint button down for too long and getting the ball taken away.

Everyone looks really hesitant to make a play or do something interesting on offense. Richards has been the most decisive in making runs, but he's got nobody to pass to when he stops since nobody can keep pace with him.

I don't have NBCS either, so I'm using a stream right now. I suspect if he doesn't have cable either, he might be using the same one.
I'm actually curious what's up with my MLS Matchday subscription from last year; I paid the 40 bucks for it, and I expected them to send me an auto-renew email for this year (looks like its 60 this year). I'm not sure if I'm gonna renew it yet. |

Well, if they play the way they did in the last 20 minutes more often, at least it will be fun to watch. Need to tighten up the defense too; they were getting beat one-on-one way too many times, and also guys were getting in unmarked way too often.
