I posted a song from this band a couple of weeks ago but finally got around to listening to the entire album, Feel It Break, and love it. I guess you can call it electropop. Their music reminds me of the Sprockets SNL skit but whatever, it's good. Noticed that they're playing a free show tonight at Pier 54.

You foolios been using Spotify now that it's "out" in the US?
I like it. I'd say it's about on par with Rhapsody but with more features, and better than MOG, which was disappointing so I canceled my sub to that a while back. Still never got around to trying Rdio. I have three invites left. So many options these days between Google/Amazon/Apple cloud storage and Grooveshark/Spotify/Rhapsody/MOG/Napster/Rdio/etc. streaming. -------------------- RIP Ass Dan, 1981-2010.

Cool thing about Spotify is you can make playlists and share them with people, or just share tracks, albums and artists in general via links.

If you synch it with Facebook, you can share songs, playlists, albums, etc. with your friends too. I haven't tried this yet, but apparently you can drag it onto their buddy icon on the right and it will drop it into their inbox.

Sed, I had to change some of my settings in order to get it to populate some top artists, etc.
(Anyone even says one comment about the pop music on there, I'll pop you! heh) And as for Kus, I had to right click on his screen name at the top and click "add user" or whatever pops up. Mostly I grabbed 10 favorite tracks from a smattering of bands. The only real rule is pick one track per band, don't repeat a previous song. So, we can get multiples from a band, just no one should add more than one song for a band. -------------------- |
