Yay, thanks to Norwich! Always would have preferred to see Chelsea lose, but much more important to see Arsenal tie.

Was never impressed with Milan's roster and game this season. I tip my hat to Conte and his squad. Arturo Vidal is a great talent.

Conte knows what he is doing that's for sure. Milan's roster is not impressive, but their offense was just downright scary. Maybe Cassano missing a long time helped Juve too. Milan just depended too much on Ibra, i think. Juve was more of a team game.

Vidal started out so well, then in the middle he was mediocre, and at the end he was impressive. Juve deserved it. Great defense. Undefeated (though one more game left, but won the scudetto as undefeated). Now they really just need a more dependable striker.

You want a scoring forward for Juve, buy Radamel Falcao from Atletico Madrid. I have followed his career since his River Plate days. All he does is score. He seldom misses his chances. Plus he plays with a lot of energy.

I am sure he will be looked at, but 1) who knows if he is for sale 2) playing in Serie A is very tricky. Some players simply do not fit. That's the hardest part about scouting for foreign players to play in Serie A. Eljiero Elja from Juve. Excellent skills. He just does not fit. T. Henry could not fit.

I am hearing Van Persie and Dzeko.

I am not sure why Giuseppe Rossi is not being mentioned yet. He was heavily mentioned last year, but so far not this year. I think he will be in Serie A, though. I wonder if Inter or Roma takes him. Inter will be the most interesting team to watch this summer. A lot of selling and buying to do.

This may be one of the bigger choke jobs I have ever seen. I know it's not like the 1940 Rangers , 1908 Cubs etc etc since Man City won in 1968.

But for how big soccer is in England. For how big the rivalry is between Man City and Man Utd, this is a catastrophic choke. I don't want to be in that area of England tonight.

Yeah. He loves LA, though, so he may wait for them to offer. Even Nesta is thinking about going to MLS.

But wow....what an awesome viewing. Even the Atalanta players went up to him to shake hands as he was going out for substitution. The guy at 37 years of age managed to score a pretty goal and still made some sick moves. What a class act he was from start to finish. A true champion. He's won the trophies, the cups. Just awesome. He is a unique player and will always be. What a career. It will be difficult to not see #10 next season. Very difficult.

Wow. I'm a curse. And you guys get mad at me that I keep predicting doom and being "Team Negative"?

You should be giving ME candy that I keep expecting their demise.

Seriously though, I never thought Donovan vs. Algeria could be topped. That might have done it. The only thing that might knock this down a slight peg is it's very possible QPR just let their guard down or flat out quit. They said their bench found out Bolton tied and thus kept QPR above the relegation line.

Didn't help that the cameras spotted a QPR guy pretty much celebrating with a Man City player in the the mess of the crowd storming the field.

Nevertheless, it's moments like these that sports are awesome.

Well, that was fairly quick by Prandelli. He already has his list:

Portieri: Buffon (Juventus), De Sanctis (Napoli), Sirigu (Paris St. Germain), Viviano (Palermo).
Difensori: Abate (Milan), Astori (Cagliari), Balzaretti (Palermo), Barzagli (Juventus), Bocchetti (Rubin Kazan), Bonucci (Juventus), Chiellini (Juventus), Criscito (Zenit San Pietroburgo), Maggio (Napoli), Ogbonna (Torino), Ranocchia (Inter).
Centrocampisti: Cigarini (Atalanta), De Rossi (Roma), Diamanti (Bologna), Giaccherini (Juventus), Marchisio (Juventus), Montolivo (Fiorentina), Thiago Motta (Paris St. Germain), Nocerino (Milan), Pirlo (Juventus), Schelotto (Atalanta), Verratti (Pescara).
Attaccanti: Balotelli (Manchester City), Borini (Roma), Cassano (Milan), Destro (Siena), Di Natale (Udinese), Giovinco (Parma).

The shockers: Ogbonna, Ranocchia, Cigarini, Motta, Schelotto, Verratti, Borini

Ogbonna and Ranocchia are okay. Not that good. Ogbonna is physically strong but he is some ways off from being relied upon. He's got a big test next season in Serie A. Ranocchia was just not that good at Inter, period. I was expecting Santon or Balzaretti. Not sure why he picked Ranocchia.

Cigarini is pretty good and i think he will benefit a lot if he gets the experience. Motta is not even Italian and he's played some matches before with Italy. He looked lost and not that good. Not sure why he was even considered. He is good on a club, but on Italy he was terrible. Schelotto seems like a risky pick because he is very inconsistent. I like his energy, but he either shows up or you see a talentless person trying to play soccer. Borini did fairly well with Roma and i like his speed. He has the potential. Now this guy Marco Verratti is very highly touted in Italy and Juve is trying to get him but the man who despises Juve coaches Verratti. His name is Dirtbag, but also known as Zeman. Verratti is very young (maybe too young) but he may add something of a surprise.

Overall, i'd keep:

Buffon
Sirigu
De Sanctis

Bocchetti
Chiellini
Barzagli
(^^awesome duo)
Bonucci
Maggio
Abate

Pirlo
Nocerino
Marchisio
Giaccherini
Diamanti

Borini
Cassano
Giovinco

The good thing is that Prandelli is open to new ideas and wants to experiment, which is what i think the Euro Cup is for to then prepare better for the World Cup. But, he has an odd first selection. Maybe he did not watch Balotelli this year. I mean really.....Balotelli over Pazzini? What the hell....

Modric is leaving Tottenham. How good is he as he is a rumored target for Juve?

Haven't heard anything about this. I'd think that would ride heavily on whether or not Spurs make Champions League. It's possible, but generally rumors place him heading to Chelsea or Man U, not Italy.

Anyway, he's creative, quick, great passer. Supposed to be fantastic. Looks good enough when I watch, but I don't know enough to say from personal viewing.

Man City eyeing Giovinco.

Milan nabs Montolivo and Bakaye Traore.

Lippi signs to manage Chinese club for e10M a year.

Van Persie said no to a contract extension with Arsenal.

Drogba will be free to sign wherever he wants to and Juve (had interest in him in prior years) will make an offer.

Juventus will take Paul Pogba on loan for next season.

Man City is really that rich eh? According to Juventus web sites the Mancini is ready to pay up over 20 million euros for Chiellini and 25 million euros for Giovinco, who is co-owned by Juve and Parma.

Chelsea's defenders play such an Italian style type of game. I am not impressed with the players on the attack, though.
