Maybe this is insensitive, but I literally laughed out loud when I saw Paul write "STFU."

I can come to terms with the senseless violence, I understand that bad things happen to good people and that God doesn't intercede in mortal affairs in the way we might want him to, but what I don't understand is why he dyed his hair red. Doesn't the Joker have green hair? What, was Sally's Beauty Supply out of Electric Lizard Manic Panic or something?

For all we know the dude has been an absolute mess and his family told him to go so he could do something to help him not think about it, if even for a few hours.

I did mention this as a possibility prior to your post . Oh......... wait ....... he's banned himself . Never mind.

He's left Rangerland. I certainly hope that, if and when he returns, there's a detailed explanation as to how he gained re-entry.

You cant just sit there and enjoy the Rangerland experience without suspending some belief?

When you think about it, it's ridiculous. Why would someone *ask* to get banned. It's just not believable.

There's no internal consistency. It's jarring and draws you out of the post.

I liked the Giants helmet with the word GIANTS more. Love the old Patriots one. The Vikings one was very cool.

If you look at some pics of the Vikings helmets of the 60's you might notice subtle differences in the horns on some of the helmets. That's because they would paint white helmets purple and but leave a white area for the horn .

Yeah, really nice. Just saw some Google images of it. The one thing that i like baseball and football over hockey is the old equipment. Hockey with the goalies, sure, but the rest is just jersey colors and logos. I love the old football helmets and the old baseball uniforms, gloves (i smelled an old glove from the 50s or 60s -don't recall i was just 9 or so- and i still have my Ricky Henderson name printed glove. Leather just does not smell the same. I also love the old baseballs and old footballs.

Man i really used to like both sports when i was little. But, hockey won me over smile.gif

Growing up baseball and football were my sports. I really loved those sports. I didn't start following hockey until I was 15. I stumbled onto hockey on TV in '71 on a Sunday afternoon(NBC Game of the Week w/Peter Puck) when football was over and there was nothing else on. Didn't like it at first because on our small B&W TV you couldn't see the puck. Then I discovered WOR-9 in NY and Ranger games and This Week in the NHL w/Marv Albert. I saw Giacomin and his extremely cool Higgins mask and I was hooked, but yeah I'm really nostalgic and love the old NFL helmets and old baseball unis and parks.I remember the old NFL Game of the Week and This Week In Pro Football highlight shows w/ amazingly cool background music. They had character back then.
