God damnit. I keep playing the wrong goalie sad.gif

But I'm not out of it this week!

Also seeing as you maxed out your forwards today, I'm hoping for no goals. Anderson needs to continue his clinic in Ottawa so I can nab the 5-5 tie with goals!!1!

Love that Peverly and Lecavalier scored today, which would have given you the win so much. cool.gif

Wow, did I get screwed. Load of points don't count because I reached my limit yesterday, meanwhile my opponent goes over his limit today and is probably gonna beat me.

I can understand why there are limits for goalies, but never liked it for fowards and defensemen.

That is an annoying feature of the software, but the way around it is to make sure you only play 23 games at most by Saturday. That way, anything your team does on Sunday will count.

Speaking of which, hooray for opponents that don't manage their rosters! If Ovie and Kulikov outhit Knuble and Bergfors by three or more this afternoon though, I'm screwed.

I wasn't around to check my lineup, but I'll take a 4-4-2 win on the tiebreaker every time.

The better in a certain category Stepan won.

God being away sucks, I should have won last week but I kept Vokoun in my accident and he fucked me over. This week I'm going to lose unless I can break some mad tieage tomorrow (with me only only having 2 games vs the other team having like 5 or 6 games).

Uhh...you just got three assists from a defenseman that had 7 all year prior to tonight.

I literally cannot believe it. Tyler Ennis has 2 goals so far too!

His 4 hits as well! Mike Weber for MVP.

EDIT: Actually I'm losing the assist category. I'm going to win on goals from Ennis' 2. Wow.

I forgot to set my lineup tonight, and left like a zillion assists and SOG on the table.

Apparently the only way to stop Teddy Purcell is to forget to start him.

As a wise Ancient One said " One must be prepared to lose before they can Win " Actually I have been playing a great portion of the season without my #1 pick. So for being a poor old man, I am happy with the results.

Playoffs!

Final regular season standings:

#1 vett
#2 Dunc
#3 toph
#4 Mike B.
#5 Anaconda
#6 toc
#7 Kusand
#8 Verddogg (tie-breaker was total goals on the season)

Very impressive work by vett and Dunc, each finishing in the top 3-4 of almost every offensive category, despite losing Crosby and drafting Tyler Myers #3 overall, respectively. Hard to imagine that anyone other than those two will emerge for the finals, but THAT'S WHY THEY PLAY THE GAMES.

Don't forget to set your lineups!

The WuGambinos have shocked the world! And any other sports cliches that may be applicable!

thevett's goaltending kills him when it matters most. Team Garbage also takes out the Ovie-less Stepan the Gas after they both got opening-game shutouts from their goalies.

The site apparently doesn't re-seed, so this week's semifinal matchups are:

#2 SoCal Goodfellas (Dunc) vs. #6 Team Garbage (toc)
#4 No Half Stepan (Mike B.) vs. #8 New York WuGambinos (verddogg)

Our final:

#8 WuGambinos vs. #2 Goodfellas

Verddogg rode a strong week from Cam Ward and solid production across the board, especially Eric Cole. Ryan Miller failed me when I needed him most, after taking a puck or nine of his collarbone. Dunc got some good work from Bobrossky, the young Skinner, and some big goals and PIMs the p.o.s. in Montreal otherwise known as P.K. Subban.

Good luck gentlemen.

Im a couple of days late on this but congrats to you both and good luck this week. I had trouble with Duncs team all year long. Once I got him in the semi's, I kinda knew i was in trouble. I definitely had fun this year though.

Craig Anderson almost saved my season. Starting Vokoun ruined it. That's right.

Also, trading Kovalchuk was the wrong move. Man I just know how to run a fantasy team!

Went from making the playoffs on a tiebreaker to taking down the best teams and going all the way.
