Too bad Traugust fell off the map. That goalie made it to the Sabres training camp once. Thomas Larkin is an interesting story too. Marco Insam was almost drafted by the CHL too. I love the Italian azzurri color on the ice. Nice contrast.

One point gives them 3. 2 should definitely clinch it. The way Denmark and norway are playing leads me to believe one will with the head to head matchup between them giving one 4 points and the other 1 if they don't win another game. But then Norway plays Italy so if Italy gets 1 Norway will get 2 and Norway will win the head to head matchup,
Hmm you're right more confusing than I thought. If Italy gets 2 points they SHOULD make it to next year's tourament. It will be tough though to get 2 points with their remaining matchups. So far, the refs are trying to keep Finland in the game with some really questionable calls and pretty blatant non-calls against the U.S. but our guys are having none of that and are up 3-0. Great effort thus far against the reigning gold medal winners, boys. Keep it up.

Also, if Denmark does not get at least 1 point against Latvia they will most likely be relegated. Which is sad considering the immense progress that Federation has made. I have them as the favorite to win the hosting rights for the 2017 tournament (since they withdrew to get Russias support since they were competing for 2016), but being relegated the year before the bids need to get submitted is not good.
