Well the game is about to start. I think Philly has a chance if Biron can stand on his head and Price puts his mask on backwards.

Nice move by Kostitsyn, but an even nicer save by Biron.

Kovalev may or may not have scored, and they're going to the video tape to see if it's a high stick. Not surprisingly the CBC says goal. Toronto agrees, and it's 2-2.

Habs fans start lighting their Molotov cocktails in anticipation.

And this is why I didn't want NYR to play the Habs. They have awesome "comebackability." Down 2-0, missed a crucial penalty shot, building is dead, Habs look sullen..... 5 minutes later it's 2-2.

This game will end 7-2 Habs.

Who was it here that wanted the Rangers to play four games in this zoo? Yeah.

Was the crowd quiet? I'm listening on the radio, and stepped away for a few minutes, but it sounds like they've been going strong all period.

There was a bit of a drop off for a few minutes after the penalty shot, but for the most part they've been pretty consistent.

After the penalty shot they were, then 5 minutes later they were back.

I'm watching PJ Stock on HNIC right now... he's a studio analyst for them now and he's not bad. Kinda funny. A lot of Canadians I know have been complaining about him, though.

I don't think he always complies with the company line. I don't think he crucified Avery like some of the analysts after Game 3. Why don't we just rename the place Averyland.net?

That's a tough one. No "kicking motion," per se, but he did stick out his leg a bit to help guide that puck in.

Oh well, here's another piece of evidence against the gibbering nimrods who think the NHL is biased. They could have waved that goal off without many eyebrows being raised.

Well, Rocha, they can't make it seem like there's a vast conspiracy for the Habs and against the Rangers ALL the time.

Why do they boo Briere so badly? Is that familiarity with his time on Buffalo or do they think he's a French Canadian traitor for playing for an English market team?

Fenway Park, in Boston, is a lyric little bandbox of a ballpark. Everything is painted green and seems in curiously sharp focus, like the inside of an old-fashioned peeping-type Easter egg. I just caught the tail end of a bit on NHL Live with Legreca and Hradek doing some Godfather stuff. They compared the Flyers to Frankie Pantangeli. Seemed pretty funny too bad I only caught the end of it.

I Don't Like: Not having minions.

Did anyone see the goal Philly got FUCKED out of? Lupul pulled a Rachunek from last year's playoffs, with the same result.

What the fuck is wrong with this goddamn country? Why the crap does Versus and NBC and every other US network just flat out REFUSE to air the National Anthem(s)? These fucking goofballs are chortling about how the crowd is in a 'frenzy' forgot to mention that it's because they're listening to the Canadian National Anthem and getting pumped up because of it. Shit like that really pisses me off. Where's the pride in this country? Just watch a Canadian broadcast(CBC, RDS, TSN, Rogers) and you'll see that not only do they air the national anthem but the announcers DON'T FUCKING TALK OVER IT. It's called respect and it's something this country desperately needs.

They say 'eh' instead of 'what' or 'duh'. That's the mighty power of Canada.

Didn't they air it for Game 1? Or was that not a Versus feed that I was watching?
