Listen, I'm totally on board with banning the word "fag" because it carries a history of violence and hate. But you're not taking retarded away from me or John Lackey. This is not a hate word. No one has every spouted off the words, "Fuck you, you fucking retard" toward someone with Down Syndrome. There is a place for a world where someone's stupidity borders on a medical condition. I'm taking back retard for the good of society. And cunt.

I think it's okay when a retard says retarded, as in the case of John Lackey. Go get Tommy John surgery again and get out of my life.

I watched him pitch here in Pittsfield in '85 & '86 for the Cubs AA team. Great teams. The 85-88 teams sent a number of players to the majors and were a lot of fun to watch. Pretty impressive.

Hopefully they step up their power numbers this year with Hosmer, Butler, Gordon, and Moutakas. They had strong BA and OBP numbers last year, but low run scoring.

Reds 2012 rotation:

Johnny Cueto
Mat Latos
Bronson Arroyo
Mike Leake
Homer Bailey

Could see Aroldis Chapman in the rotation once the bullpen heals up a bit.

Verlandered!

I can come to terms with the senseless violence, I understand that bad things happen to good people and that God doesn't intercede in mortal affairs in the way we might want him to, but what I don't understand is why he dyed his hair red. Doesn't the Joker have green hair? What, was Sally's Beauty Supply out of Electric Lizard Manic Panic or something?

Why wouldn't Valentine make Cody Ross his full time LFer? Looksd like he's going to platoon him w/Darnell MacDonald.

Mike, is the Moustakas going to be good this season or did I just draft him because he's Greek?

He homered over the weekend, so we're basically talking ROY here.

It's Bobby Valentine. Once Crawford is back Ross will platoon in RF with Sweeney and McDonald will be the 4th OF. At least I would think.
