Crosbys planning on Thursday for his return. Crosby back plus malkamania = blowout.

I fucking called it.

There is no need to bring him back sooner than that.

I have hope in the team to not embarrass themselves in the playoffs, but I don't expect them to win the Cup either.

I didn't know you could participate if you are neutral but I see a neutral on the board. What's the criteria? I don't want to be "Negative Nelly" . I want to be able to root for this team but from what I'm seeing lately ,it looks like they're running out of gas. Biron's not doing the job as backup and that may force Torts to overplay Henrik down the stretch. They very easily could get bounced in the first round but they could also go to Conf. finals. I'm kind of in KOD's camp .I don't think they can win the Cup. If I can be neutral and play I'll be neutral.

I'm going to think about my candy for a while. I'm tempted to ask for butterscotch hard candies, but that would be a really shitty choice with such a good opportunity. Peanut Chews are a good choice. Maybe mini Peppermint Patties or mini 3 Musketeers.

Good news for Team Negative. The Rangers are at 62.1% winning percentage of their one-goal games.

Then again, the Devils and Flyers are even worse off, so there's that. Hang on to the #1 seed, then catch the Flyers or Devils.

Good news for Team Negative. The Rangers are at 62.1% winning percentage of their one-goal games.

Then again, the Devils and Flyers are even worse off, so there's that. Hang on to the #1 seed, then catch the Flyers or Devils.

Counterpoint: 11 of the 18 teams on this list that lost in the playoffs lost to a team with a better goal differential. 6 of the 12 "upset" teams who lost to a lower-seeded team lost to teams with GDs that the same or better. (And one was the +60 Predators losing to the +59 Wings.)

Not sure this is much of a "predictor."

I know I'm a little late, but count me in for Team Positive. I enjoy plain M&M's.

I think Team Positive should get extra credit if the Isles sweep the Pens this week.

How about extra credit just for having a super-positive attitude!

I think it's obvious that none of the Rangers success should actually be contributed to the Rangers. That "success" can be contributed to all of the losing the teams the Rangers faced did, and even extended to all the losing all the other teams in the conference did.
