Also, to address some of the concerns over graduating early, it depends on a few factors. I don't know how BCs credits system works, but for my school you have to have a base number of credits (its 128 which is the equivalent of four 4 credit classes a semester), and the satisfy requirements for a major. Now if you don't come in with ANY AP credits (which is sadly far from the norm), to graduate in 3 years you need 128 credits in 6 semester. If you take 5 classes a semester that only gives you 120. In which case you need to take summer classes for one year. It can be done, but having general education and major requirements you probably have to take 4 semesters of summer school (each summer we have 2 terms so that would be 1 class (which is the norm) a term for 2 years of summer school), and 5 classes a semester.

If its close to where I go to school, kid is working his ass off in class and being a leader on the team. He's committed to going Pro and getting a college degree. His professors probably don't have any more exams before finals in a month by this time and all he has to do is keep up readings and take exams online to graduate. I would assume that is what's done an he just won't walk with his classmates, he'll just be practicing and probably playing playoff hockey.

I think he might eventually. But I don't think it's in any of the first 3 games of the first round.

Unless they go up 3-0 or down 3-0 I think someone would have to get injured or play bad enough to lose a spot before Kreider goes in.

Are the Rangers announcing the players individually before tomorrow's game? I would love to see Kreider announced, though I'm nearly 100% positive he's not playing tomorrow.

I'd be SHOCKED.

Where? Like the manufactured (and annoying) idea here that anyone was being critical of him and slighting his character, where did anyone make an issue of his number?

I don't think he'll play, unless the Rangers lose the first game and look flat.

I think Torts is taking todays practice to get a feel for Kreider and include him in some line time with the main guys, so I doubt he plays Game 1.

Fenway Park, in Boston, is a lyric little bandbox of a ballpark. Everything is painted green and seems in curiously sharp focus, like the inside of an old-fashioned peeping-type Easter egg. It was built in 1912 and rebuilt in 1934, and offers, as do most Boston artifacts, a compromise between Man's Euclidean determinations and Nature's beguiling irregularities. - John Updike

Hmm. Torts not dismissive of notion Kreider might play. Basically said it's day to day. And according to Kreider's account of the process, the Rangers pushed hard to get him here ASAP.

Hmm. Torts not dismissive of notion Kreider might play. Basically said it's day to day. And according to Kreider's account of the process, the Rangers pushed hard to get him here ASAP.

No doubt he's playing, it's just a question of when. He would be a big help on the PP if nothing else.

They pushed him because he's a viable forward that can play if any of the top 12 get banged up or play awful and Torts wants to bench someone. There is no one else.

Trashing a Dvorak jersey is okay. If I see somebody altering an Erixon jersey though, we're gonna have problems.

He's going to be wearing #20. My twitter timeline is overreacting to that. I have no idea why.

The behavior I've seen from fans regarding this has been ridiculous. Freaking out over a fucking jersey number?

He should really have some respect for Vinny Prospal.

A game one? Oh yes. Because that means it's almost 30 years old and that will not stand. That would be like somebody buying the Bob Brooke USA jersey hanging in Cosby's to strip it and make it a Phil Kessel.
