Buddies are takin' me to the Aeros @ Texas Friday night for my bday. It's a 3-2-1 night which means 3 buck beers and dollar hotdogs. HellOOOO designated driver!
I just looked at the game calendar again and saw the two Rochester games for Texas. They abbrev it as: RCH. Yeah, I giggled. Jed got an empty netter and an assist as his Aeros SMOKED the Stars 5-2. Meh. Finding the neighbors out and having cupcakes and even more beer made the loss all better.

He doesn't have to play on the top two lines. I think he would give a big boost on the 3rd line if he can provide some scoring. If the guy is ready and really does not need another year in juniors, then there's no point in sending him back. I agree with you that he will likely go back (also he appears to be a bit smallish?), but if he has a good camp then give him some NHL games. Of course, it also depends who the Rangers get in the off-season. -------------------- |

just re-titled the 2011-2012 thread. Economic cutbacks and all suggested a bit of recycling was in order. Hate to throw away a thread with only 32 posts in it...
Looks like U.Texas still has a club team, so maybe I'll go see some of their games this year. Worcester has a buy one get one free offer for tickets if anyone is nearby. I got some for November 17th against the Whale.

I'm smack dab in the middle between Albany and Springfield,MA. 1hr drive either way. I plan on going to a few games. I'm thinking other AHL teams will have some sort of ticket promotions soon.

I doubt it. It was a total shit feed too, just the crappy video they show on the scoreboard. I can't believe the AHL has the nerve to charge $400 a year for that shit.

I'm planning a team bonding trip to a Springfield Falcons game in Jan. Pregame stop at a pub down the street from arena , game ,and then closing out the night at Mardi Gras, a strip club down the block.

Went to the Falcons game against the Whale last night. Whale lost 2-0. Not impressed w/what I witnessed. Kreider and the Rangers top prospects did nothing.Generated little to no offense , did nothing on the PP including a 5 on 3, and spent a good portion of the night killing penalties. Only bright spot was the play of Cam Talbot in net. He was solid . Stopped 38 shots and kept the Whale in the game.

Two people that went to two different whale games said the same thing regarding Kreider. They said he looks like he's just mailing it in.
