So with HHH just being a wrestler again I see him joining up with CM Punk, Cena and Sheamus to go against R-Truth, The Miz and to find out the person behind the conspiracy.

I think they had a chance to turn Cena heel and failed.

The episode about 5 weeks ago when you had him make out with Eve and then Ryder comes out handicapped. He almost hit Ryder there and the dude then gets beaten up by Kane.....again.

That crowd was ready to fully turn on Cena, yet that next week on PPV, he turns into super cena again. Not only did they miss an opportunity, they totally killed off whatever momentum Ryder had.

The whole notion Cena can't sell stuff while being a heel is bogus. The fact he can't interact with kids while heel is bogus. They turned Rock heel and face a bunch of times. They turned Austin a heel. And frankly the guys who take hard badass heel turns and up becoming even bigger faces. So many examples.

Rock, Kurt Angle, Randy Orton, Edge, and most recently CM Punk.

I think it would be very refreshing for both the WWE and Cena to see it happen. I really think Cena can excel with a twist on WCW's Raven where he turned into a guy always asking "what about me?" Cena's heel turn occurs when he can't take why the fans hate him so now instead he'll hate them.

He can interact with them, but they wont run around dressed up as him, and buy all his merchandise and tickets if he's a bad guy. Not the little kids, which is about 3/4 of Cena's fanbase.

The 'anti-hero' badass character you mention (like Austin) is popular with the teens not the smaller children. You didnt see little kids running around with middle finger up, smashing cans together Austin-style like you see them running around doing 'you cant see me'.

The WWE currently has Punk to appeal to the 'badass, dont give a fuck' teen fans. No need to risk Cena, who sells merchandise so well to the smaller kids.

Then they push someone else. It's not like Cena is some kind of visionary character the WWE has never done before, and where does Cena go from here? If he doesn't go heel and Rock leaves, where does he go? He just feuded him for a YEAR. There's no where for him to go. What, back to the Miz? The Miz can barely get on the Wrestlemania card, he's going to feud with Cena?

Cena turns heel and it opens up doors for him to basically feud with the whole WWE, and he demolishes all of them, and then the Rock comes back to right the wrong. They feud, and then a third party intervenes, Rock and Cena come to an understanding with eachother, and Cena rivals with intervener.
