I Like: Winning

I Don't Like: Omar Minaya

Oliver Perez seems to have baseball's number right now. I'm hoping on the bandwagon because his numbers aren't a fluke. While he struck out 11 per 9 IP in his ridiculous 2004 season and he's at a K per inning now, he seems to be learning to pitch a bit more. He's walking less than he was which is making his K/BB go up above what it was in 2004. He's also giving up less homers as that year, so this is all very encouraging. Because he's been less talked about than Maine but he's our true ace (I think he will keep this up). If he does, a 25 year old ace is so hard to come by. There probably only like 5 legitimate ace pitchers that are even under the age of 30, let alone 25.

I'm surprised you can type after the beating you took last night. That was brutal officiating.

I'm not going to throw down 10% of my salary to field a team, but if you want to pay for everyone - more power to you.

Especially if you can pull it off! Good for him that he can (and good for you as well!). I bet you can ice a real good team with the hook of, "don't worry, I'm paying for it."
