All the beasts (Canucks, Penguins, Bruins) are gone. Good teams remain, but outside of the Flyers they're all either playoff newbies or teams who haven't had any previous playoff success with their current rosters.
Not that the Rangers would walk through any of these teams, I think all three of the Devils, Flyers and Caps could take the Rangers to 7 games and/or beat them, but the remaining field isn't exactly packed with titans. Big game tonight, eh? -------------------- RIP Ass Dan, 1981-2010.

Good teams remain, but outside of the Flyers they're all either playoff newbies or teams who haven't had any previous playoff success with their current rosters. Not that the Rangers would walk through any of these teams, I think all three of the Devils, Flyers and Caps could take the Rangers to 7 games and/or beat them, but the remaining field isn't exactly packed with titans. Big game tonight, eh? I think Nashville is the toughest team remaining. But in theory, it is wide open to win the Cup. -------------------- |

I'm thinking Gaborik wakes up tonight and scores two. Living in Boston and watching the Bruins get eliminated last night felt oddly depressing. Let's not fuck it up tonight.
