Blues, Predators, Rangers, and Devils are my picks. I don't really expect the Devils to beat the Flyers, but I'd rather see the Rangers send Marty packing in what may be his final playoff appearance.

LA in 7 - they're offensively challenged, but they remind me of the Rangers in that they can score in the most frantic of circumstances. Dustin Brown is Callahan West.
Nashville in 6 - They're for real. Rangers in 7 - the caps aren't that great this year (and I'm still not sold on Hunter's philosophy with that roster) but, like in the Sens series, watch the Rangers fuck shit up and need more games than they should. Flyers in 5 - Giroux's on fire and Brodeur is old. The only thing giving Kovalupchuk and co. a chance is the fact that Bryzgalov's mediocrity is humaanguuuz big. |

If the Rangers don't win, I really hope it's Nashville or St. Louis.
Both have pretty awesome fan bases. For being a southern city, watching a Preds home game has a "northern" feel. The fans are always in it, and they've also stuck with the team even in the lean years. The Blues meanwhile have had the fans stick through this rebuild with amazing devotion. I remember last year the fans gave the team a heroes farewell at their home finale. Both of those fan bases deserve something. -------------------- |
