I'm on a field trip in Reno with my students, and we have the afternoon off. So I spent the last 15 minutes trying to figure out how I'd be able to watch the game live on my iPhone, until it finally clicked: "D'oh! I'm in Reno." I'm so innocent. blush.gif

it's really apparent when you flip from a game at MSG to a game at any other arena. MSG looks like it is lit by kerosene lanterns.

I just was curious about ticket prices. Found it surprising the ones in D.C. are more expensive than MSG on Stubhub.

Amazing times. I remember in 1994 my parents took me down for Game 4 of their series because 3 tickets to Washington in the postseason were cheaper than regular season games in New York.

Yeah, relatively "cheap" seats for Game 1 today. Surprised.

Fenway Park, in Boston, is a lyric little bandbox of a ballpark. Everything is painted green and seems in curiously sharp focus, like the inside of an old-fashioned peeping-type Easter egg. It was built in 1912 and rebuilt in 1934, and offers, as do most Boston artifacts, a compromise between Man's Euclidean determinations and Nature's beguiling irregularities. - John Updike

That wasn't presented as bulletin board material, was it?

Re: ticket prices, as I mentioned in the other thread, seats at the Verizon Center are way more expensive than MSG. My friends and I went down there for a game a few years back. They have one of the newer arena designs, i.e. steep seats that are high and far from the ice, and last few rows in the upper bowl were $90 face.

I think something was wrong with StubHub's Website last night and today, or maybe it's just the really short break in between games. Tons of tix available, for low prices. I sold mine for FACE VALUE (!) to a friend. Outrageous! I was hoping to make an obscene profit on people like all of you by re-selling the tickets.

I Like: Callahan, Sauer and PJ Stock!

I Don't Like: The Devils, the city of Philadelphia and fake Pens fans.

Soooooo...Bickel on the 4th line? Ugh.

Don't we have a call-up left? I know it's not exactly super, but Kris Newbury can at least fulfill a 4th line role no?

No Boyle or Dubinsky.

Boyle is a confirmed no go, but there's no word that Dubi wont play.

Bickel stays on D with Eminger being the spare forward.

Hagelin-Richards-Gaborik
Kreider-Stepan-Callahan
Fedotenko-Anisimov-Prust
Eminger-Mitchell-Rupp

Everyone slamming Gaborik on the pregame show. I don't think he's even played badly, puck just isn't going in.

Watching at the Casino, I won't have any sound, so I'll have to stream the radio broadcast. What's the station for Rangers games?

1130 AM, I believe. Don't know call letters.

ESPN 1050. Nice.
