Found a guy that sold me his ticket for the last home game of the Freiburg season. God I'm going to miss going to games. If Cologne (who we face) loses this week we are definitely avoiding relegation and apparently they just give out free beer for the game to celebrate. SO PUMPED.

That was unbelievable. I live about an hour from London so theres a few Chelsea fans in my local bar, but most just want English teams to do well. When Torres slotted in the winner people were jumping on tables, it was crazy.

We all know Terrys a scumbag. You cant go round kicking players off the ball, that was ridiculous. Barcelonas penalty was a blatent dive so I was estatic they missed and justice was served.

4 Players out for the final though - Probably too many to win it in my opinion. Everyone here is rooting for Madrid tonight so we can see Mourinho v Chelsea. That would be amazing.

Wish I would have actually been able to WATCH the game - satellite radio was definitely better than nothing, but being stuck at work I couldn't watch. In a day or two, the Tivo will probably catch the rebroadcast. Even knowing the outcome, I still want to watch this one.

I dunno, it was exciting in real time, but a huge swath of the second half is Barcelona back-passing from the far sides of the box to about 20 yards away from the box trying to set up a cute play, while I watched and said "are they aware that one must shoot on target to score?"

Chelsea scored 2 goals down a man. They deserved it today. Wow.

How does a team with basically whole squad defending in its own box, with total of 20 percent ball posession throughout game, and 2 offensive chances deserve to win? I am a hard core Madrid fan as you would find, but I can't applaud nor accept how Chelsea played yesterday. You chastised me last week for appearing to be result oriented, which I was not, but now you turn around to give credence to how Chelsea reached the Champions Finals!!! Chelsea went to Camp Nou to defend the 1-0 score. That's it. I am not saying go balls out, but to basically play with 9 players 5 yards off the box entire game and try to burn the clock, give me a break. Offensive players like Lampart and Mata were defending 80 percent of their time in pitch and soccer fans are suppose to applaud? This is like applauding the NJ Devils for winning their couple of Cups.

Having said that, I am not shocked at Barcelona coming out empty this season. Their starring players have plaved an awful amount of soccer in last 12-15 months. Xavi and Iniesta were injured a great deal this season. Messi played Copa America and id not have a summer break. They did not stock the roster with players for the number of games they knew they had to play this season. Especially with the amount of injuries they had. Pique, who in my opinion is the best defender in world, is carrying a load of injuries plus a high profile courtship with Shakira. Villa went out early in season. In my opinion Fabregas has been a bust, so far.

I think this is a difference between having solid play an entire season and having yourself still in line for a championship and even if they fall just short not to fire the coach and how a team played in a single game in an elimination tournament.

Also, Chelsea flooded the box when they were down a man, they had a few offensive chances before Terry got the boot. They played a majority of the game down a man and still managed to move on. Its not like Barca could just keep playing in the league and hope that Chelsea lost another game to even up in points.

Also I HATE the away goals rule. If Barca had won that game 2-1 it should have gone to extra time. Period in my opinion.

One of the best games from Juve today. It was clean, no yellow cards on either side. Fast paced. Great goals. Vucinic's first goal was slick. Three games left. Milan won too. This is friggin close.

Spurs back in 4th after they only beat Blackburn by 2. Seemed like it should've been 6. Now, do your business, Bayern, and win out, Spurs. Please.

This is like a playoff game. Man City vs. Man U. Who wins it?

Also, Arsenal getting Podolski? I think he will be a rock star for that team.

I'm already in "Nervous Pregame Mode" over the FA Cup final on Saturday. Suarez and Torres both take home the match balls this weekend. My prediction. Liverpool hit the post 14 times and Chelsea score from a corner with an Ivanovic header. As far as today's game goes. Meh, I'll probably watch it, but it'll be alot like watching the Flyers-Devils series for me. Hoping for injuries and not giving a fuck who wins. My prediction on that game. 0-0. All the big hyped up matches between big teams end up being snooze fests.

Arsenal got Podolski? That's a hell of a get.

HAHAHAHA SUCKS FOR YOU KOLN

Going to the last game and beating them 4-1 and then having the players salute us and drink giant mugs of beer on the pitch was a hell of an experience. I was right behind the goal in the main standing room section with the ultras and was chanting all game. I also love how if we ever made it to the Europa league we couldn't host any games because our north and south sections are all standing room only. How it should be done.

Nervous as hell for tonight. Go City.

Regardless of what happens in next 2 games, the best team won yesterday. Yes, I am a huge ManU fan, but first and foremost I am a futbol purist. I despise coaches that coach scare, play for the result, play ultra conservative when there is no need to, and sometimes start to believe their news clipping too much. To play with a midfield of Carrick, Scholes, Nani, Giggs, and Park is not only mind boggling, but stupid. First: the best way to defeat ManCity is by keeping them preoccupied defending in their side. Two: Park had no business being on the pitch. He had not being a regular in 2nd half nor has he played substantially lately. Third: you are asking Giggs to defend, really a guy with 100K miles wheels? Fourth: with Jones and Evra preoccupied with Aguero and Tevez flank attack and with defending midfield, the $64K question was who was going to accompany Nani and Rooney attacking? McCa was right. This is not first time Sir Alex pulls this kind of 'out of the box" strategy when he doesn;t have to and loses. He radically changed United's lineup yesterday. I am ok with Jones at right fullback. Was Evans injured/suspended that Smalling had to play? Why not maintain the midfield of Carrick, Valencia, Scholes, and Nani with Welckeck and Rooney up front like they have in last 2 months? I have criticized Mancini, but I tip my hat to him for keeping Milner, a defensive midfielder, on bench and field a formation that feature at least 5 (Toure, Silva, Nasri, Tevez, and Aguero) attackers. I got into the EPL because top teams hardly ever changed their style at away games. I was deeply disappointed in Sir Alex in manner he coached yesterday and can't applaud, will not accept, nor cheer destructive tactics. The worst part is that he didn't have to. He could have made amends to to his original decision, but he was so into his genius mindset and did not make the necessary adjustments at half time. He left better players on the bench. In soccer coaches usually get fire for those type of errors. He wil survive because of his track record and the Glazers care more about the bushel of $$ club is making for them. Sir Alex most likely cost United a championship yesterday. If you think you are top dog like Sir Alex think he is, you go and piss on the opposition's living room. United plyed like their coach, scare. Not too many teams get away with it. I am glad United didn't.

Two clips you must see. I think one is on Youtube already.

Delio Rossi, manager of Fiorentina, beats up his own player on the bench.

This clip will be visible by this weekend, i am sure, as Buffon dribbled the ball mistakenly and gave it to a Lecce player to tie the game. Serie A just got a lot closer. Milan behind by one point, two games to go. DAMN IT BUFFON.

Apparently Huigain is off the market, as is Robben after re-signing. Now Van Persie is in market rumors. I know how he plays on an international level, but i don't think i have ever seen an Arsenal game. Maybe i have but he was not on the field. So...any "scouting" opinions of him from you guys?

If RVP leaves Arsenal, it's pretty much over for the Gunners. The guy's a true offensive talent.
