What do you guys make of Luis Suarez? They are saying that with Liverpool missing out on the Champions that they may have to sell him. Also, big debacle with Torres and Chelsea. Was that unfair treatment towards Torres and should he request a transfer?

Man, Conte could have at least started a good team for the Coppa Italia. Estigarribia sucked all season long. Not sure why Storari played as he forced a PK on himself and then did not challenge Hamsik. Not sure why he has something against Matri, unless Matri has been playing hurt for a while.
No Chiellini either. Coppa Italia does not really matter, but it would have been nice if you win the scudetto as well. Lavezzi apparently played his last game with Napoli. Hopefully he will be out of Serie A. Can't stand looking at that guy's face. Can't wait for the market to open!!!! Juve's got to get some reinforcements for the Champions. Milan already got Montolivo, but most likely will look for a solid defender and attacker as well. Inter is in chaos and needs to sell and buy a good number of players. -------------------- |

Freiburg signed St. Pauli's (other Hamburg team in the second bundesliga) top scoring Midfielder!
This is kind of a big deal for them I hear since we don't sign many players. We just develop them because its a small club. Our U-19 team won the German (not just the Southwest region) championship this year for the second time since 2007 too! Their top players made one appearance, the first game I went to waaay back in January and scored the only goal in a 1-0 in the 89th minute. It was awesome. EDIT: They also signed a 21 year old midfielder on a free transfer. They are just going really, really young next year. Interesting. Its a big risk, but their manager who guided them out of relegation used to be the coach of the youth squad. I like this new philosophy a lot. Dzeko is pushing to stay with Man City despite his agent talking to Juve. Sneijder telling Robben to join Inter (please no). Matri to Fiorentina seems a likely scenario (i don't get why Conte didn't like him in the end). -------------------- |

It's a joke. I mean, if he is guilty then he, Criscito, Bonucci, and others, are a bunch of assholes. But these guys had their houses RAIDED at like 4am. Ridiculous. I think Conte will be ok, but the players will have issues for sure. If not then Capello is still very close to Juve and would be the most likely replacement, unless they want to give Walter Mazzarri a shot.

Two of teams I root for are coming to NYC. Real Madrid vs AC Milan @ Yankees Stadium August 8, 2012. I would be more inclined to make trek across Bronx, but can't stand Mourinho, period.

Abratmovich probably saw his goal vs Denmark over last weekend and was impressed. Torres is twice the player this guy is. Agreed, this guy is just overrated. The portuguese league isn't a high level one like the Premier League, La liga, Bundesliga and Calcio. And before he signed for Porto he played a couple of seasons in japan, where soccer is as weak as in USA. He's just in a hot streak right now. About Neymar... he's a lanky version of Messi. The kid will be great. But he's not signing anywhere until 2014, he said he will play for Santos until the World Cup. -------------------- |

Lazio turned down Zola and got some guy i never heard of from Bosnia to manage the squad. I am not sure how well managers have done in Serie A by being hired without any Serie A experience. I am going to say not too well, most likely.
