We fixed the bullpen, our lineup is pretty much exactly the same and our rotation is kinda meh, but we have depth there.
2 years of chokes in a row, I'd prefer K-Rod and company prove they are the team to beat before they start spoutin' it to the media. Why does the media think its so crazy to start Murphy??? I think he should be ready, and if manuel thinks so too, then good.

Because Murphy is not a legitimate option for a winning team. He came out of nowhere to have a good year last year in AA and had a handful of good at bats with the Mets. He doesn't project to have enough of a bat to be an average regular in left field or first base at his peak, let alone now. This is the same situation is we had in Ruben Gotay, everyone thought he was good off a limited number of at bats and disregarded past history and the scouting reports because he had small success and was a young player. Murphy doesn't have the bat to play premium position and doesn't have the defensive skills to hack it anywhere to make up for it.
