Well....Thanks Renney for the good things you did. He brought back this team into playoffs hockey. He's done a lot of good things for this club. I wish him the VERY best and that another team in search for a coach hires him and that he succeeds. He's a good man, a great...smart hockey person.

About fucking time. I hope Sather uses the Peter Principle, changes his job title to just President, gives Schoenfeld the GM job and Tortorella the coaching job. I'd keep Renney in the organization working with player development and scouting.

I agree fully...I feel bad in the sense Renny helped lead us out of the crap we were in for a decade. With that said, his stubborness to follow a system that clearly did not work was inexcusable. I don't think you can judge our offensive potential until we start playing well...offensive.

I watched the Leafs broadcast last night, and the commentators all agreed - without Lundqvist the Rangers are a last place team. To me, this backs up my long held belief that whatever success the Rangers have had has been owed not to Renney, but to (primarily) Lundqvist.
Ending the playoff drought was nice but Renney didn't do it. It's like your boss getting all the crdeit for the good work that YOU do. I do not want him anywhere near our 'Yutes' as he will strangel and stifle all the creativity and love for the game right out of them - turning them all into a bunch of 3rd or 4th line role-players. I just hope it's not too late for whoever comes in to de-program the kids and turn them back into players instead of wussed-out zombies. -------------------- Living and Breathing Rangers since '66
