Beautiful, EA jumps on the "We support Tiger" bandwagon http://wii.ign.com/articles/105/1051556p1.html Tiger loses nothing. The next release of Tiger Woods Golf had better include the ability to pick up women from the gallery. If it's in the game, it's in the game damn it! -------------------- |

Tiger Woods, have you ever seen Tiger Woods's wife? What an asshole. All that means is that the saying "behind every beautiful woman is a guy that is sick of her shit" is confirmed. Is she attractive? Hell yes. Do we know if she's a stone cold bitch at home? We do not. I don't give a damn that he cheated. In my opinion he's an idiot. With his earning potential, he should have stayed single or let it be known from the start that there was going to be action on the side. Perhaps he should have married a women who would have been ok with that. Whatever though. If he was looking to do other chicks he should have sacked up and gotten a divorce. However much it cost him it would have been the right thing to do. That being said, he's double the idiot for getting it on with waitresses and bar chicks. These types of girls would not have any loyalty to him and the money isn't important when they can sell their story to TMZ or US or the Enquirer for a decent amount of money. Its not like in the old days when a proper mistress would go to her grave before talking about the guy she was with. I guess that's why these chicks are floozies and not mistresses. -------------------- ![]() |

looks are not the only thing. Best wife: a whore in the sack and a lady outside of it. or maybe average looking chicks get a rise of Tiger's weasel. Who the hell knows.

Apparently Tiger and his wife had a pre-nup. She has a certain amount of money she would get if they broke up.
Tiger has offered to raise that amount of money if she stays. -------------------- Behind the Press

I don't think his wife is good looking but I'm not much of a blond fan anyway (dirty blond is nice, bleachy blond is gross).
Anyway, responding to SATS, I don't think you can compare him to Kobe because the audience and expectations are so different regarding the NBA and PGA. The NBA has become closely associated with hip hop and youth culture while the PGA is still looked at as the gentleman's game and its audience is mostly made up of more, ah, straight laced people of upper incomes. There will be a bit of a backlash. I also wouldn't read too much into his major sponsors coming out and supporting him -- they're not really supporting him but their major fucking asset which is their endorsement deals with Tiger Woods. I'm sure they'll all be sitting back and monitoring the public opinion and outrage and some might drop him if it gets too heavy. Remember, I think all of Imus's employers backed him at first until the backlash got too hot to handle. No, I don't think this is going to destroy his career or anything, but it will leave a stain. It's golf, after all. It won't be Barry Bonds-ish, more like Sammy Sosa, where people don't like the guy and question his integrity but aren't outwardly hostile. |

Well, that and the fact that there is a difference between cheating on your wife and rape. Not that I approve of either but cheating is a family issue and to those who say it won't cost Tiger anything, actually, I think it will cost him his family which is a pretty big, and entirely just, price to pay. -------------------- |

I think at this point it will be cheaper for Tiger to stay marry, rather than get a divorce. Pre nup or not, Elin could go for 1/2 of assets, right?

Well, that and the fact that there is a difference between cheating on your wife and rape. yes, one is considerably worse, and the guy is doing just fine. Look I don't disagree that this guy screwed up his marriage, but if he was cheating it probably wasn't all that great to begin with. People said this will hurt him proffessionally, and I just don;t see it happeneing. |

To my understanding, she is requesting 300m as the prenup and instead of ten years reducing it to something like five years. By agreeing to this, Tiger's taking a substantial risk. He's counting on being able to salvage his marriage for the sake of his public image, as a divorce would really hurt his image and therefore give his sponsors a real reason to reconsider backing him.

It is 500 thousand and reducing it to 7 years, 5 of which, I think, have already passed. And she isn't requesting it, Tiger is offering it to her IF SHE STAYS. and thats not even all of it, theres some toehr benefits to her as well, she'll get a bunch of money immediately if she decides to stay. I don't think many people head into marriage going "I can't wait to go on the PGA tour next week to cheat on my new wife!" Or maybe they do....... I'm sure he does, but I believe (and I have no data to back this up so take it for what its worth) that a man who is happy at home is unlikely to stray. Granted I'm not worth a billion dollars and women don't throw themselves at me as much as I'm sure they do to Tiger, but I like to think that I'd be able to keep it in my pants. I don't know, with that kind of fame and money you can pretty much do anything you want and maybe people at that level start to believe that they literally can do anything they want. Maybe she was his ideal wife and he still strayed. I don't know, but I'm betting odds are he wasn't happy, right or wrong, about something with her. -------------------- ![]() |

Here's what I think happened.
Tiger knows that his woman has checked his phone and has some kind of evidence of infidelity. Tiger loves his perfect wife, but cannot resist the temptations of these girls. Part of it is the excitement of the cheat and part of it is the ....girls. Thanksgiving dinner comes along and after they put the kids to bed....Mom, Wife and MIL do what THEY call an "intervention". How could you do this etc etc. Tiger FLIPS OUT....trashes the vestibule in the house trying to get out...hurts himself during the process and then gets in the car in the garage to take himself to the hospital while in a fit of rage and shame....he bolts out of the garage all nilly dilly....runs rough shod over the neighborhood and knocks himself out. Wife freaks out in fear and caves in the window. I think it was Tiger who got violent and hurt himself. He got cornered by the 3 women in his life and went nuts. Tiger Woods is 33. He's not any more adult than any other male 33 year old. He's riddled with high testosterone levels and the rest of the world telling him he is king shit. He's just another jerk off guy in reality. We all look at these guys as more talented than us and somehow equate that with being smarter, more responsible and mature than everyone else too. Nope. He's a jackass just like the rest of us. Now this whole money changing thing disturbs me. I don't remember what Michael Jordan did for his wife at the time of his "indiscretions", but they stayed together for a while and then she divorced him a few years down the line. Probably did the old "wait for the kids to hit a certain age" thing. (which is stupid IMO) |

I hope Derek Jeter looks at this situation and reconsiders! If you stay a bachelor the amount of ass you get does not matter!! If your mate makes you happy, you will not succumb to the temptations that as a multi millionaire you will encounter every day. Switch drugs for woman and tell me that the discussion doesn't change? and the questions is why? With Tiger, this is not a case of infidelity with one woman only. It is with several. That tells me that he wasn't satisfied with what he had at home, but with whatever trashy waitress came across him. In retrosepct, he shouldn't have gotten married. Like everything in life, making that first move towards infedility is the hardest. If Elin feels comfortable with Tiger buying her self respect and stay marry, at least for a couple of years as the news are reporting, then by all means. Who am I to criticise her. The moral issue brewing here is not that Tiger is human. Is it actually Tiger trying to preserve the marketing brand his name has today. -------------------- "America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedom, it will be because we destroyed ourselves"

I wonder how much time Tiger actually spent at home. Or time his wife and he spent together.

OK, I really don't want to follow this story but with the latest number of women up going up to 7 you have to ask, if they are telling the truth, how the hell is his wife going to stay with him? I mean wow.

I mean wow. And I hate to even follow it because all it amounts to is "Guy cheated on wife" but it's getting absolutely hilarious at this point. The Skank-O-Meter is off the charts here. Tiger Woods is worth close to a billion dollars, his wife is supermodel gorgeous ... and is he cheating on her with the personal assistants of foreign diplomats, cartel/mafia heiresses or international jewel thieves? HECK NO!!! It's a parade of cocktail waitresses! I always expect these guys to live their lives like James Bond or something, when in reality all they are are a bunch of sad sacks trying to impress their server at Hooters. -------------------- Batman uses women for sex and tactical advantages.

I feel sorry for his wife. It's almost guaranteed she has at least one VD, probably several.

Don't know how reliable this site is, but it says that she's moved out into a nearby home:

LOL allegedly up to nine different women now, and one of them was a porn star. This just keeps getting better! Cheating is generally easily forgotten by the public, as it happens more often than not when regarding celebrities... But with this many women, and one of them a porn star? Tiger is in some deep shit.

-------------------- Fenway Park, in Boston, is a lyric little bandbox of a ballpark. Everything is painted green and seems in curiously sharp focus, like the inside of an old-fashioned peeping-type Easter egg. It was built in 1912 and rebuilt in 1934, and offers, as do most Boston artifacts, a compromise between Man's Euclidean determinations and Nature's beguiling irregularities. - John Updike |

I'm glad that news report doesn't point out how his wife has blond hair. Because then the story would immediately become like it's fact that it's his wife.

Elin's mother was the one taken to the hospital. She's fine, though.

Nope. He wins the next tournament and noone in the golf world cares. Word. How awesome would it be if he won all 4 majors this year? I think pop culture would have a seizure and die. -------------------- |
