The Hockey Hall of Fame welcomed 3 new members Tuesday afternoon and the women outnumbered the men this year. Dino Ciccarelli, Cami Granato and Angela James will be inducted.
Also Daryl “Doc” Seaman is inducted.

About time Dino got in. but I'm surprised Gilmour didn't make it.

Well, let me say, it's about fucking time. The guy deserved to be voted in over ten years ago. HOWEVER, I would have put Killer in before Dino.

When is Bure gonna get some fuckin' love?

It sucks but when you have guys like Gilmour and Mogilny with 450/1414 and 473/1032 respectively who don't get in, it's tough to get a guy in who scored less goals than them and almost half as many total points too. It's really a shame too because Bure was one of the greatest pure goal-scorers ever to play the game. I think the fact that he lost a lot of his career to injury doesn't help either.

Injuries will keep Bure and probably Lindros out.

Both should get in.
As should Mark Howe. There was a great piece on him I found of Puck Daddy today. I'll dig it up later.

2nd. The biggest thing about hockey is a player's personal toughness. Injuries indicate a lack thereof, and injury
type not withstanding, both of these guys spent lots of time in the trainers' room instead of on the ice.

See the thing with him is that he was never injury prone so he was tough unlike them.................

Personally I think Bure should get in.
The guy was a dominant force in the NHL for close to a decade. He was a multiple time 50+ goal scorer who didn't win many awards only because you still had people like Gretzky putting up tremendous numbers. He also helped lead the Canucks to within an eyelash of a Stanley Cup.
Lindros? Had only one truly dominant year in the NHL, had one MVP championship and to me didn't really come close to the pure long term dominance Bure had.
Bure Yes. Lindros? No way.

Yeah, but Neely had heart. Boy, that guy had lots and lots of heart. Also, soul. Guy had soul like a motherfucker.
