What platform does your organization/company/whatever use to deliver and/or track employee training?

We've been piggybacking off a proprietary system for years that was originally designed to track research protocols, and it has become apparent that this system is a barrier to delivering adequate and timely training.

I'm most interested in developing quality web-based training material, and finding a system for sustainably tracking compliance and keeping people current.

Suggestions? Related experiences?

It kind of sucks, but hey, we've cut training to be nearly non-existent so it's ok!
