Nilan 666
That's the Dubi we need.
Eric
Nothing motivates quite like being called out by your coach.
TeamStewie
Nice that they could pull that point out of their ass.
Nilan 666
I'll take the undeserved point, have to wonder if they were looking ahead to Boston on Sunday though.
Leo95
fuck
S.D.Willie
i guess thats a point they probably didnt deserve.

That being said how about brad richards takes that shot instead of passing to girardi? whatever. im over it. Thanks dubi.
Mike B.
Yuck. They were looking pretty good in the OT, too.

I don't think so. This team looked awfully tired. For most of game they were always a second behind. The Boyle line along with Girardi-McDonagh looked bad. Without looking at the scorecard I would venture to say Boyle lost probably 60-70 percent of defensive draws. The schedule is a problem this month. The fact they are playing with limited roster of forwards, close games all the time, and trying to stay #1 in conference factors are going to comeback and bite this team in pos season. This roster has spent a lot of tank's gas.

Yesterday: Woo win and finished with midterms.

Today: Loss and I have no idea what I did last night.

I have no idea what I did last night. I'm in so much pain.
Charlie
Also apparently Prust led all forwards in ice time. Any particular reason for that?

Staal getting 27 minutes puts a smile on my face though.

Boyle/Prust/Feds was married to the Stamkos line and you can also add in 4 minutes of PK time as to why Prust was on the ice so much.

--I really can't take too much out of this game team wise. They played back to backs on a lot of travel. The bigger concern as noted above is the schedule. Usually, you're really happy to have a lot of games left because the Rangers are usually in a playoff dog fight. It always seemed the Rangers would have a heavy first half schedule and would have to scoreboard watch this time of year.

When is the date you can start bringing up guys from the minors? While we got to keep our eye on the prize, I really think we could use a few maintenance days for everyone. I really would love to see 1-2 Whale forwards inserted into this lineup to give a lot of our grinder guys a rest and maybe even sit people like Gaborik down for a game or two in the last 10-14 days. A 3 or 4 day break could so a few guys wonders.

--I was really happy for Dubi. I wish I could have seen Torts with him on that goal but I'm also certain he would have gone to him, punched his shoulder pads a few times and gone off on some celebratory curse filled rant. It just frustrates me though that this guy clearly has a lot of talent. This goal was sick tonight.

--Greatone can enjoy this one....Gaborik and Richards actually looked pretty darn good with Dubi on their wing.

The Tampa Bay Times Forum is beautiful. Great job by the ownership group to reno when they took over. Good atmosphere at the arena with a ton of Rangers fans competing with the Lightning fans for the Lets Go ____ chants.

Rangers looked a step behind all night. Our defensive system is pretty damn good. A guy like Woywitka steps in for the first time in 2012 and fits right in. So glad for Dubinsky. Besides wearing his jersey and him being my second favorite Ranger, big time clutch goal and the look on his face was fantastic.

Tampa Bay doesn't really scare me at all if we happened to play them in the playoffs. I'd like to avoid Washington.

Stepan looks pretty terrible. Anisimov, Gaborik, Richards(being so close to the ice and seeing his vision is great), Dubinsky and Prust all had pretty solid games. Chalk it up to it being a back-to-back and in a tight stretch schedule wise. Rest up, get Cally and DZ back for Sunday and beat down the Bruins.

Very nice ... that must have been a fun game.
jkman61494
This stat is kind of nuts.

These two teams combined have six blows 3rd period leads. Four of them have come against each other.
Charlie
Cool little google doc sorting teams by age, height, and weight.

Rangers are the 5th youngest, tallest, and ninth heaviest team.

He won 11 of 14 per Yahoo, so unless he went 9-0 or better in the offensive zone, that's probably not true.

Edit: After scraping the ESPN play-by-play, he was 6-2 in the defensive zone.
Eric
There's an easier way. All that info is on the NHL website. Go to the box score for the game on nhl.com and hover over "STATS." One of the options that drops down will be "FACEOFF REPORT."

Good grief, that is crappy design. At least I know it now. Thanks.
