I think I'd like to not hafta play Washington again this season, so, the sooner they go home, the better. Not that it matters to us entirely, yet, but, I bleev in planning.

what an absolute crock of sh*t!
Seidenberg and Thomas ht and trip Hendricks into a net with 3 minutes to go...no call.
Now a Cap goes for the puck fora Bruin and the Boston player goes down....and they make the call?! And even worse, replays show the ref waited over 2 seconds to raise his han and did so pretty much after the crowd reacted. To think this could decie an entire series? A frggin joke.

That's exactly it. It's a bad call by the camera angle, but to the ref on the other side of the ice, Chimera wraps his arms around the Bruins and he falls down. Penalty. Blame Chimera for needlessly taking his hand off his stick, ya watchin' this Brandon Dubinsky?

God, it's like the NHL fates are trying to give this to the Rangers. Pens AND Bruins out in round 1? Caps now as our next opponent with no chance of Philly or New Jersey until the ECF? Chicago, Vancouver, Detroit all out in the West?
Please oh PLEASE don't screw this chance up.
This reminds me of the World Cup in 2010. By some miracle, the U.S. team avoided teams like Brazil, Germany, Argentina, England, Spain, and Holland and instead had to beat Ghana and the winner of Uruguay and South Korea to get to the Semis. Of course.....they blew it.

Caps played a tough series, even though Holtby held them in a few games. I'm not sure this tight ass defensive look really fits their personnel, but it's certainly working well so far.
So now there's no chance of playing the Devils or Flyers and their soft goalies. Ech.

I think Rangers fans are insane to prefer to go against the Caps than against the Bruins.
Bruins were the Rangers perfect match. Bruins are a solid team, but banged up, with injuries, and no game breakers. Washington? Yah..... good luck with that. If the Rangers even go there, which i think they won't.

Few things from NHL Radio I found interesting.
--If the Rangers and Devils lose today, the Flyers will be the only team left that's won a Stanley Cup.
--If the Rangers lose, Hank will be 18-24 in his playoff career and 2-6 in playoff series. They debated how long until people stop giving him a break and put him in the same category as Roberto Luongo.
--The Tim Thomas jokes are already starting with them. "Thomas picked a hell of a time to go to the White House because he sure wasn't in net last night" Hurr de durr.
