Got offered Trumbo and Strausberg for Josh Hamilton. Do it?
Greatone
Whats your team look like? Trumbo will struggle for playing time out in Anaheim but if you need pitching trading a oft-injured star from your OF for an injury prone star pitcher makes sense.

My whole team is an injury waiting to happen I think.

Batters - McCann, Morneau, Weeks, Reynolds, Aybar, Braun, Hamilton, Soriano, Ortiz, Cuddyer, Moustakas
Pitchers - Lee, Kuroda, Jurrjens, Floyd, Darvish, Cueto, Nova, Zito, Lilly, Johnson (RP, BAL) & Farnsworth.

I'm leaning towards doing it but am worried about Straussberg.

Isn't Hamilton kicking ass right now?

The only thing that concerns me about the deal is the lack of playing time Trumbo is getting and the reliance on Alfonso frigin Soriano.

I wonder how much Albert is regretting his move to Southern California. I actually hope he turns it around but I tell you, the whole thing seemed to start off poorly when he complained about the billboards going up about his arrival to Anaheim. Just kind of showed his heart may have still been with the Cardinals.

I do wonder if he monumentally stinks up the field all year if they may try to work out some kind of deal to get him back into Busch Stadium for 2013.

So his complaint about billboards selling out his heritage shows his heart may have been in St. Louis still? And he even had the same stance while in St. Louis because of his fondness for Stan Musial.

Well I apologize then. I thought the whole complaint stemmed from Musial and not about his heritage. I don't know. This is pure opinion here, but ever since he signed there, he just has looked remorseful and uncomfortable.

And I do think that having an issue revolving around Musial, a guy with no connection to his current team the Angels, should be looked at.

It seems to me that he went to Anaheim clearly for the money. And that's fine. At his age, having already won two World Series, is there that much more to do in the game? If a guy wants a cash grab, you can't fault him for it.

But he didn't really seem comfortable with going to Anaheim, and thus far, his results are showing it. Whether it's his fondness for St. Louis, the fact he's out of his bubble that he was in for a decade, or he's just having a terrible time adjusting to American League pitching, he right now looks like a shell of his former self.

I hope he can turn it around.
