Some crazy stats through the first 2 rounds.
http://www.arcticicehockey.com/2012/5/15/3...irst-two-rounds Not appreciating the jab at Kreider..
To say the hype is premature is dumb, he obviously has skills and will become better on the defensive side of the puck with time with coaching and learning the system.
Are we predicting his future based on how he plays D 13 games into his career?

Interesting that Step has started +80% in the Ozone. Haven't noticed it being that overwhelming. PK starts aren't factored into that though, right?

Tuns out PK starts are included in it. Not surprising to see Boyle/Feds/Prust overwhelmingly starting in the defensive zone.

Last night something very weird happened.
I have this Rangers thing in my room, which is a glass rectangle with the Rangers logo engraved, something like this:

And it is attached to a device that holds it and lights it up in blue. My dad got it off Ebay years ago and it worked for some time but i think that it has been like...four years or so that it has not been working. It has been plugged in all this time as well.
So last night i was talking to my brother and as i was walking under it and all the sudden it lit up. Just like that.
Freaky? Hockey gods? A SIGN!? But really, it was friggin freaky.
That being said.... beat these fucking Devils.

I wonder if Girardi goes back to the locker room when he gets cut, looks in a mirror and a small tear streams down his cheek.

If he hadn't posed like that, the Rangers never would have drafted him. There are dozens of undrafted prospects you could pick up. Gotta filter it down somehow.

I would just like to say that having DVR has made me a faaaar more relaxed ranger fan. I no longer have to shove people out my door and lock myself in at 7pm. I can come home at 2am and watch hockey till 5am without feeling like i have to catch a rewind. I've also gotten pretty good at fastforwarding through all the Bs parts and just catching the play. Games are like an hour and half for me now.
