Was listening to Opie and Anthony on the radio the other day, and they said they are trying to get Sean Avery to come on the show. They went on to say that he wont come on until after the Devils series is over. BUT he WANTS to come on the show.

Now, I know there are a lot of haters for that show here and thats fine. But even those people gotta tune in for this..

They dont know much about hockey at all. Opie is an Islander fan, but he doesnt seem to be a die hard. It could be a great show or terrible, because you know they will go to the gossip stuff instead of the hockey (thought they loved his antics against Marty). If Sean Avery is as much of a scum bag as we all hope he is, this could be radio gold. If its on XM.... It may be even better. Then again who knows if he makes it onto the show (maybe theRangers will forbid it).

I cant even fucking imagine what he's gonna say. Some "community" is going to protest against the New York Rangers and after Sean Avery goes on O&A.

Now I'll have to take a morning off of work to listen to this. Please let it be on the XM side.

O&A are great -- I would love to hear Avery on it -- although, you're right, it wouldn't focus on hockey for too long.

I, for one, am quite pleased with Avery's media boycott -- leave it on the ice jerky.

If it's on XM, I'm going to be pissed. I don't listen to O&A. I listen to Stern and I WISH he'd get Avery on there.

i listen to stern as well, but he knows NOTHING about hockey, nor sports in general - avery would be a waste on stern imo. and no worries if he goes on xm - im sure youtube or some clip will have it afterwards

True. They usually have audio up on YouTube for Stern, too. The Artie thing was on there almost immediately.
