Butterfly started up a new project about 2 years ago, called Shabazz Palaces. It's similar in spirit to Digable Planets, but much crazier and trippier. Some really great sounds.

Went to see the Eels at the Music Hall last night, and while their (his, whatever) studio work is uneven from what I know of it, they fucking killed it live. Great show, energetic crowd, kick-ass band.
Also, going to see Lykke Li tomorrow at Central Park. She's so great.
If you like Clutch, this is their other band.

I've never done a big festival and likely never will. I've said it here a few dozen times - Roseland Ballroom is the biggest I get and I'm not happy there.

Finally getting a chance to give Kurt Vile's record a spin, and it's awesome. Like if Thurston Moore actually cared about making somewhat melodic music.
Seen these guys a bunch of times live. They were on Kimmel last night. Their album, Arrows, is worth checking out.
