some kind of wrongful confirmation. Not really sure, but the order i thought was in the works ended up not. dang. that was gonna be SO sweet, too. sad.gif

Hey Tex,

What happened was your order was incomplete (no size, name, or number was specified), and attempts were made by Rinkgear and myself to reach you to get that information, but we had no luck. We had to move forward with production of the Browncoats batch, and that meant cancelling your order and issuing a refund. Really sorry about that.

If you can please wait for a few months, a Browncoats 2.0 jersey will be offered (probably in June), featuring a different design and a patch for the 57th Overlanders.

If you're up for the next Browncoats jersey I will personally tend to your order and ensure it goes through without a hitch.

Again sorry for giving you the boot. Production forced our hand there.

Thanks! -Dave

umm, no Dave, I think that's not how it happened. But hey, whatev. Next time, I'll handle the order directly, myself, and not let it get hosed-up by poor communications and such.

Whoops I thought you were that one gentleman we had to cancel on. Dare I ask what happened? No worries if you don't want to say, just concerned about orders that have fallen through the cracks.

There is a Mass Effect design on the homepage right now if you're interested, or was that what you were referring to?

Thanks! The green one is a nice homage, but in my opinion not something that would be worn in public casually. I could be wrong, I've underestimated some of my designs. I had no idea people wanted to wear a hockey jersey fashioned on a TARDIS, but I was dead wrong there. Dressing up like a phone booth??

Just check in every few weeks (or monthly) at www.davesgeekyhockey.com, and I might have something you're looking for. Browncoats 2.0 probably in June or July.
Nilan 666
I had not seen that, but I was thinking one from the Cerberus organization. Was planning it in my head today, basically it would be like the Ducks but with gold piping and a Cerberus logo on the front. I need photoshop skills or a woman. Photoshop skills are more likely.
akteon
Trying to visualize it, I assume you mean this one (their current 3rd):

Nilan 666
No the straight black one.

I think the auction for game worn CT Whale jerseys is over soon. I'm really tempted to bid on Hagelin's, but I can't explain that to my husband.

Well I was in on the Hagelin from $400 to until it hit $615 but I'm out - too rich for my blood.
xcdudesquadloves91!!!
Gah I missed this! I wanted a Redden! Badly!
Nilan 666
So do plenty of homeless people.
akteon
They didn't have a Redden. Had Hagelin, MZA, Bickel, Avery, Mitchell, Bourque, Christensen, Wolski, and Woywitka.

Looks like someone bought all the Rangers call-ups/sent down players from the team then resold them for a handy profit.

Wade's jersey was sold at Saturday's game along with the other active Whale players. Someone had him sign it post game. This Saturday they're auctioning the green jerseys during the game.

Huge Bluejacket fan here. Congrats on the good season. I dont collect Jerseys, but I wanted to know if any of you would like to take this off my hands! I really only collect Blue Jackets autos, but I came across this Henrik autograph card and wanted to get rid of it!

I'd much rather have an actual Ranger or other teams gamer of a backup goalie that costs me anywhere up to $200 than a customized pro weight that costs $330. That's ridiculous.

I wandered into Gerry Cosby's on 31st Street yesterday before heading to that craphole bar that people here like so much. Inside, there was a blue USA jersey worn by former Ranger Bob Brooke hanging from the ceiling. I approached one of the guys behind the counter and asked if it was for sale. I pretty much knew it wouldn't be but I was curious anyway. He said that it's not for sale and that it belongs to the owner of the company. He also told me that somebody else had offered said owner $10,000 for it and he turned it down. $10,000!! I'm pretty sure he could have bought Bob Brooke himself for ten grand. Unless I ever find a 1994 Finals game-worn jersey somehow, I don't think there's anything in my collection that I wouldn't sell for $10,000.

My latest acquisition (in the sub-$10,000.00 category):

2011-2012 #42 Artem Anisimov game worn jersey

$teiner doesn't provide dates when they were worn, but got lucky with some photo matching of the two vertical black marks on the back 4 (photomatch1 | photomatch2). It was worn by Artie on February 9th, 2012 when he assisted Brad Richards OT winner against the Lightning.

....

Sure the pic below was a different game against the Lightning, but I may still have to check for gunshot residue laugh2.gif

Damn dude nice pickup! Didn't even think about looking at Steiner prices. Haven't really had any desire for jerseys lately, but that is a fucking beaut.

So my dad decided to wear my almost as old as me authentic Richter jersey to the game tonight since I was at work and couldn't go to the game. Around 10:30 I get a text from my brother:

QUOTE
Dad got your jersey signed.

I reply:

QUOTE
That's awesome! You guys ran into Richter at the game?

QUOTE
By Pete Stemkowski.

And the awesome mood that I'm in from the Rangers win suddenly evaporates.

I ask my dad, "Why would you ruin a perfectly good Mike Richter jersey?" He says he hasn't. I say, "Would you walk up to Pete Stemkowski with a photo of Mike Richter to sign? No! So why in the name of all that is holy would you take my jersey and ruin it?"

Am I right or is this not such an awful thing?
Bleedin-Blue
Where did he sign it? I might be able to get it to come off if it's not on the twill itself.
