If it's not Wal-Mart using Queen's "We Will Rock You" as sung by a family getting ready to watch football, then it's gotta be Geico's latest "that's the money you could be saving" commercials using one-hit wonder Rockwell's 1984 pop hit "Somebody's Watching Me."

And I thought it was bad when Cadillac starting using led Zeppelin......

Blame it on the recession. Everyone else does.

I thought it was something worse, like you having a sexual dream with Liza Minnelli.

Actually the most bizarre use of a song in an ad was when Cadillac used the Pogues song "Sunny Side of the Street". He is the verse they used:

"So I saw that train
And I got on it
With a heart full of hate
And a lust for vomit
Now I'm walking on the sunny side of the street"

Granted, unless you are a fan it is hard to understand what SHane is singing but still you need to review this stuff.

the pogues is odd, but the others seem expected to me.

Sometimes Christmas brings out the worst in people. These scenes are now replayed every Christmas season.Everytime I see this kind of footage on the news my blood boils! Check out the little girl on her knees at the 15 sec. mark. First off where the fuck are her parents? She's almost trampled . Why the fuck would any parent bring a child to one of those sales ? You know there's going to be people stampeding the store when the doors open. People are fucking idiots. Seriously! Is a pair of fucking overpriced sneakers ..... or a new video gaming system worth you or some other person ending up in the hospital or ending up dead. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
