Does anyone know of a good, working site for youtube downloading? I can't find one right now - they're all outdated and don't function properly.
I know this board software used to give the option, too.
I downloaded one on someone else's computer using a software package but it gave me an .avi with flaws - it keeps crashing after effects. So I want to download another version. But I don't want to install software.
Meh. I should probably either download something to mend the .avi or download something to download youtube videos. Most of what is out there is crap...

Nevermind, found one, but now Riva's encoding software is biting it.
I'll just wait until tomorrow to figure out what avi analyzing software I've been using and try to repair it. Arg, so frustrating.

There was a Firefox extension that used to do that. I forget what it's called.

I use this app called YouTube Mate by Cucusoft. Its shareware but you're allowed to download about 15 times before you have to register it. It'll rip down the videos and then even convert them to mp3's. I've used it a couple of times and the quality is pretty good.
