Yeah, we have to talk. I'm not quite sure how to break this you.............but, um..............uh........I think Better Cheddars might be better than Cheez-Its. I bought them in the A&P yesterday on a whim because they were at the end of the aisle and I am clearly a marketing sucker. Anyway, after snacking on them I couldn't believe how good they were. I think they are cheesy, crunchy and flavorful, yet have a deliciously lighter than its bastard brother, the Cheez-It.
I've switched sides and I'm not embarassed to admit it. Embrace them. Love them. The Better Cheddar.

Hmm. I'm not as stunned by this as you might think. I was just thinking the other day that I haven't had as much of a voracious appetite for Cheez-Its recently as I once did. I've been way more into higher brow snacks lately, like Roasted Garlic Triscuits (what a friend of mine once aptly labeled "crack" Triscuits) or Salt and Vinegar Cape Cod potato chips.
Have fun chasing whatever the vagaries of modern advertising lead you to next, though.

I haven't had the Roasted Garlic Triscuits. Good, huh? You know what is just fabulous? I stumbled on these in a wine shop.
Holy cow. They definitely have a little kick to them, but wow.

Oh man, these are so good. I had them with little slices of pepper-jack cheese on them, and, well, you know.
