I need help for a class project. I am currently taking a photoshop class that we have to do a project for our final grade that is a collage. But, when someone looks at the collage, a saying or phrase should come to the viewer's mind. I have decided to do, "the thrill of victory, and the agony of defeat". I would have photos of different athletes celebrating, and one photo of someone sitting on a chair in bare feet, rubbing one of the feet and grimacing.

Would anyone know of where I can find that photo of a person rubbing their feet like that? I've tried google searches on such things at foot pain, foot rubs, etc. and all I get are links to medical sites.

Note that I said that I'm not artistic, so this is the best idea that I have.

Try looking up athlete's foot cream or plantar fasciitis.

Artistic is not the same as imaginative. There are many ways you could portray defeat.

For example, any image of Tom Brady. wink.gif

Or that famous photo of Denis Potvin! The one thing however is that when someone sees this collage, they immediately think of a phrase or idiom or theme. So, I want to make the defeat portion as obvious as the victory portion.

i am not sure why the athlete has to be holding their foot. an athlete all alone in his lcoker stall after a game with the right lighting is enough to symbolize defeat. with art you dont have to be so literal. in some cases too literal can come off as cheesy. i wouldnt use a picture of someone grimacing in pain since the agony of defeat is more about the emotional pain than it is about physical pain. one picture that immediately comes to mind is the one of chris drury from the playoffs when he was clipped with a stick and was bleeding under his eye and he just had his head down and he just looked defeated. you want to look at the picture and wionder whats going on inside of that person right now. if he was holding his eye and screaming, its obvious.
