It doesn't get much bigger than this, one game to decide who makes the playoffs. And I have to take my son to a freaking Birthday party that starts at 3pm. Fackin joke it is.

I thought I posted this in the last thread. Guess not. Anyways, here are two important observations I've made after watching these last few Rangers games.

1.) BaHa is right. Brandon Prust is a hottie.

2.) Jody Shelley has the best hockey face I've seen in years. It just adds to his overall air of being awesome.

There are two and only two scenarios for the Rangers. Win and play the Capitals, lose and play golf.

When we win tonite we are in 7th place,and hopefully devils are 2nd so we can start the cup run by sweeping fatso and co.

The Rangers CANNOT move any higher than the 8 seed. A win gives them 88 points which ties them with Montreal BUT the Habs would have the same amount of wins at 39 and since Montreal won the season series 6 points to 3, they get the tie-breaker.

Yes, it will be on the NHL Network for everyone outside of the NY and PHI markets. They have a special US double-header today with that game and the PIT-NYI game joined in progress afterwards.

Not true. I live in Western Massachusetts and Ranger games on NHL Network are ALWAYS blacked out. Still haven't figured out why.

I have a soccer game at...right in the middle of the Ranger game. Did I mention it was in Sound Beach? Where the hell is Sound Beach anyway?

When we beat the Cheesesteaks, in the first game of the series against Washington, I say we throw out Shelly-AA-Prust out there and Shelly takes the 28 game suspension for hacking at Ovechkin's throat. Just sayin'

I would just like to say that the NHL is a disgrace. That this game wasn't moved to be on national television is reason enough to fire Bettman. Instead, you get a completely meaningless Boston-Caps game.

I dunno man. Had the B's lost yesterday this would have been an important game. Also I don't know if they could have just moved it up with 24 hours notice. How would the fans know? I will agree that the Rangers game should have been there all along, but if Carolinas Power Play wasn't so bad, the Bruins would have had to play the Bag Bad Caps for a playoff spot. NBC would have loved that with Ovie.

Forget the f'n NHL network "doubleheader" and put the two games at the same time a few weeks ago. Fans would know, and then you could make a call on Friday.

Either way, the Caps had nothing to play for. If the Rangers won on Friday, then this was important to BOTH the Rangers and Flyers.

It's this kind of stupid shit that puts the NHL below the other leagues. If the NFL can move games for TV purposes, then so can Bettman.
